Happy Birthday Evelyn!!!

On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, we gathered to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Evelyn McNabb.  Evelyn has been an LWML member and quilter at Immanuel Lutheran in Sheridan, WY, for many years.  What a wonderful time we had celebrating this milestone birthday with Evelyn!

"The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine
on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace."   Numbers 6:24-26

Powder River Zone Fall Rally
October 5, 2024

What a beautiful day to share God's word with LWML Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

The theme was "I Believe" based on Romans 10:10. Pastor Olsen delivered an excellent Bible study on the creeds and their understanding and importance to us as a church body.

We were blessed to have Rosanne Muncy from Douglas (the Prison Ministry speaker at convention) and 2 of her daughters join us. We elected a new president, treasurer and member-at-large.

Ingathering:  Teddy Bears for Wyoming Highway Patrol Association to give to children who have been involved in, or witnessed traumatic events such as automobile collisions. As you can see, a lot of furry friends were collected. Plus a $50.00 donation to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.  Blessings on your constant vigilance and service to keep our community safe.

Powder River Zone Quilters:

So far this year - 2023,  we've donated 30 large quilts, 11 youth quilts and 226 baby quilts, and 7 pillows. Can't forget those pillows!
