Beautiful Harriman Retreat Center, Harriman, WY, was the site for the 2024 LWML Wyoming District Ladies Retreat. The theme for the retreat, "Let's Grab Our Shoes and Go!", written and lead by Terri Bentley, was inspired by The Pilgrim's Progress allegory by Paul Bunyan in which he depicts a young man with many earthly burdens. His wife and family will not follow his spiritual lead. His friends and neighbors mock his religious zeal.
Author Terri Bentley kicked off the weekend Friday evening with an Ice Breaker activity - What Character am I, and watching the movie, Pilgrim's Progress. On Saturday, Author Bentley lead the group in Bible Study - The Burdens We Carry and Witnessing on the Way along with several reflective activities including "Vanity Fair" - In the World, Not of the World, and an Emmaus Walk.
A weekend of inspiration and fellowship was enjoyed by all who attended.
